Meet Steven & Judy
Founder of Conquering Cars™, Steven DePrang is a teacher-minded mechanic.
Coming from a strong background in mechanics, he is passionate about creating family-learning courses about cars. From one-on-ones to classroom settings, he's shared his love for cars and practical life skills.
Steven believes families should all experience the joy of working on cars together. Through hands-on learning, his goal is to foster a love for responsible car ownership.
Judy is passionate about mentoring the next generation. She began Roots & Roads to have a place for young adults to learn job and life skills, while also providing a mentorship relationship though in-person small group courses and one-on-one training.
Meet Mike
Mike is a passionate father and hands-on builder.
With a wealth of experience, he's spent years honing his skills. A mechanical engineer by trade, he's built cars and created innovative solutions.
When Mike isn't teaching, he spending time with his family in the mountains, riding bikes, and teaching.
He hopes to inspire confidence in all ages through engaging, practical lessons.
Our mission
We're on a mission—to help families everywhere build practical skills for taking care of their car, themselves, and the people around them. We hope to teach through engaging, practical lessons, and foster a love for learning and growing!
Based on a “Mock Business Model”, this is our local and in person hub where young people get hands-on work experience and gain life skills while providing a welcoming place for the community to gather. We serve locally roasted coffee and espresso drinks, fresh juices, baked goods, snacks and more!
Roots & Roads is all donation based and not for profit. These young people are learning how to not only work together as a team, but also care for thier community.
